Family of God, Formed from the Dust

Family of God, formed from the dust,

gifted with breath and a garden,

saved from ourselves, led through the sea,

how can we ever say thank you?

Body of Christ, formed by the cross,

gifted with healing and wisdom,

saved from our sin, promised new birth,

how can we ever say thank you?

Spirit-led folk, formed by the wind,

gifted with speech and a future,

saved from our fear, shown a great hope,

how can we ever say thank you?
